Better Laboratories Layouts for Excellent Research Results

Global Performance Technical Consulting was invited to Indah Water Research Centre (IWRC) at Titiwangsa,Kuala Lumpur. Two representatives, Mr Farahi and Mr Aiman Danial performed walkthrough during the visit guided by three representatives from IWRC to six laboratories in the building.  The purpose of the site visit are to conduct simple laboratories inspections, identify laboratories layouts and discussion on preferred improvements.     Throughout laboratories visit, GPTC representatives commented on current layouts and suggested crucial improvement to prevent workplace accidents. IWRC representatives took their opportunities to dig many opinions for current apparatus arrangement and method to improve workflow in a space.      The visit continued with a presentation from GPTC on products and services offered. IWRC showed interest on selection of training provided and emphasized on chemical management & safety trainings. Strong ISO Compliance makes Reliable, Quality Results.

Global Performance Technical Consulting arranged a meeting with SIRIM Berhad at Shah Alam . Two representatives from GPTC, Mr Farahi and Mr Aiman joined the meeting together with a representative from ISO audit department to discuss potential collaboration on recertification of ISO standard for organizations. This is an initiative to enhance organizations to comply with ISO standards and get certified for customer assurance and quality outputs. The discussion was guided by an idea to provide ISO awareness training before an organization decide to apply for ISO 9001 certificate, Quality Management Systems. GPTC and SIRIM Berhad deliver services accordingly until organization is ISO 9001 certified. Latest information on regulations and certification process were exchanged by the end of the meeting and both parties expressed hope to collaborate for the project. The meeting ended with a group picture at main lobby of the building. Better Safety With Reliable HIRARC Practice

Global Performance Technical Consulting delivered another in-house training for Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) at Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd. This is the second batch of 10 participants after first training held in 2025. The training aimed to strengthen awareness on workplace safety and improve safety regulation compliances. Other than that, the training equipped participants to identify hazards at ports and yards, assess all risk and apply control measures using Hierarchy of Control, in line with OSHA 1994.   Participants actively communicated and engaged with speaker and facilitator throughout the session, seeking for answer to their inquiries.  Real case studies were used in interactive session to assist participants with hands-on experience using HIRARC tool. The application of risk register is handful for participants to practice at offices, ports and yards. In addition, participants were among engineers and technicians with fundamentals of safety at workplace.   The two days training were packed with joy yet educative. Participants able to win impressive prizes through online quiz sessions.The two days training ended with real case study assessment and group photos. Empower Governance Readiness with Proven ISO Strategies

Global Performance Technical Consulting convened a meeting with Talent  Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) at Petaling Jaya. Two representatives from GPTC, Mr Farahi and Mr Aiman Danial convened a meeting with representatives from TalentCorp on ISO readiness, implementation and in-house training.   GPTC presented their proposal on Organizational Process Governance & Readiness Training and mentioned on drafted implementation method. Discussion happened between two sides as TalentCorp representatives suggested pre-planned implementation method that match their expectation. Information and remarks exchanged by the end of the meeting and both factions highly expect to collaborate for the project.   The meeting ended with idea exchanges and group pictures. Better Environmental Assessment with NIOSH

Global Performance Technical Consulting held a visit to National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) at Bandar Baru Bangi. Two representatives from GPTC, Mr Farahi and Mr Aiman Danial attended a discussion with two representatives from NIOSH to discuss on several updates and issues related with environmental assessments.   During the session, both parties exchanged technical insights on Indoor Air Quality assessment methodologies, implementation challenges, and best practices applicable to public universities. The discussion also covered opportunities for improving assessment consistency, strengthening occupational safety evaluation processes, and enhancing collaboration between industry practitioners and technical institutions. Both sides exchanged ideas and suggestions to improve current practices.   Potential collaboration was mentioned throughout the discussion, strengthen GPTC recognition among industrial safety and health leaders. The one hour meeting ended with group pictures.

Empowering Smarter Audit: ISO and Risk Management

Global Performance Technical Consulting conducted an in-house technical training on Key Element, Audit Readiness & Risk Management (HIRARC) in ISO 9001:2015 with audit preparation team for audit readiness enhancement and Irshad safety team for detailed explanation on ISO and HIRARC connection. The training focused to assist participants identifying all clauses and key elements of ISO 9001:2015, PDCA concept in auditing readiness of ISO9001:2015, identify key elements of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control and apply practical tools such as Turtle & Fishbone diagram, RACI, Risk Matrix and Risk Register in ISO 9001:2015.  The training was conducted by Mr. Muhammad Farahi, a SIRIM lead auditor for ISO9001:2015 and an Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator (OSHC) for a full day. Participants actively and fully focused on the training as it is important for respective roles. A meet up between AFRY Poyry representatives with Global Performance Technical Consulting representatives took place on 15th July 2025. The meeting held to finalize agreement on GPTC involvement and contract signing. The project expected to have a duration of 8 years!.

SCIROSH-GPTC meeting @ USIM Nilai

Wednesday, 9th July 2025-Representative from GPTC visited SCIROSH ;an OSH unit from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) at Nilai campus to discuss on potential laboratory assessment project and technical trainings. GPTC were greeted by deputy director, head of section of SCIROSH and a representative from Faculty of Dentistry. The meeting focused on lab assessment operating procedure, potential technical training at USIM in future and exchange of opinions on chemical risk management in universities. HIRARC @ UiTM Sungai Buloh

Fundamental of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control @ UiTM Sungai Buloh. Global Performance Technical Consulting was at Institute of Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB) for Fundamental of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) training program on 3rd July 2025. Audience for the two hours training was among science officers and lab assistants from various departments. The session started with introduction from Puan Zaleha Afandi,CHRM as Deputy Science Officer, continued with training session from Mr. Farahi as our speaker and closed by Mr. Aiman with Kahoot session.
